Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism are traditionally viewed as the 5 major world religions, though they are certainly not the only ones.
“Religion” is more than simply attending worship or observing certain holidays; it is a culture of shared beliefs, morals, and values that influence individual attitudes and worldviews. The study of world religions involves developing a deeper understanding of that culture, the impact it has on those who adhere to it and, ultimately, our relationships with people of those different world religions.
