Religious Organizations & Movements are more modern in origin than the traditional world religions, but our approach to learning about such movements remains the same.

As with different world religions, members subscribed to different religious movements live in a culture of shared beliefs, morals, and values that influence individual attitudes and worldviews. The study of these religious organizations and movements involves developing a deeper understanding of that culture, the impact it has on those who adhere to it and, ultimately, our relationships with those people.

As with witnessing in any specific context, witnessing to someone who subscribes to a particular religious organization or movement first requires developing a real, authentic relationship with that person. In developing that relationship, the witness gains an understanding of that person’s attitudes and worldviews, which inform how the witness should go about sharing the Gospel.

The Every One His Witness Context Modules specifically address witnessing to religious organizations and movements.
